Challenge

Introducing Rival was an uphill battle in a trendy market full of competitors. We had to educate sports teams and brands on the value of using a novel gaming platform as an entry point for fan engagement.

My Role

I led Rival's go-to-market strategy, refining our value proposition and developing key sales enablement and marketing materials, such as creds decks, case studies, and product one-sheeters. I also streamlined client onboarding with playbooks and regularly conducted user interviews along with competitive and market analyses to improve our product offerings.

Outcome

  • Achieved a 10x increase in ARR since my start in 2021.

  • Grew our enterprise client base by 40% since 2021.

  • Kept client churn under 5% from 2021 to 2023.

  • Led the launch of Rival’s 2.0 product, securing a six-figure contract with the NHL for their Gaming World Championship.
